Written to coincide with the UK release of the schlocky 'Dreamgirls', this piece in the Independent (an Editor's pick, if I might add) positions Beyonce Knowles as a role model for women in the 21st century. As far as I know, the thing most admired about Beyonce is her rump. Hmm, a brilliant example of product placement. The more I think of it, the more the press comes across like a very sophisticated tool for advertising.
