What is this? I was invited to be a part of it. I'm wondering whether the marketing people at Apple have anything to do with it. It's amazing how many Apple Evangelists one comes across on the web. In the year of the 'Consumer' and the 'You' and the like, some lessons to be learnt here. The next time I'm thinking strategy on my brands, the question I'm going to ask myself is how do I go about creating evangelists? Hmm.

Hey interesting. Today morning I got a similar mail from www.chevy-bloggers.com, inviting me to write for them. Consumer Generated Content (Consumer Edited Content as per Russell) at its best. Create brand evangelist of people who are already writing about your brands.
It is most certainly not from Apple. For one, have you seen anything that fugly come out of Apple? Apple is a pretty secretive company when it comes to blogging. There is a standing dictat from his Jobsness himself to not let employees blog. Finally Apple just changed it's name from Apple Computers Inc to Apple Inc.
Spam bloggers looking to use your content to make money from ads.
I agree. It looks horrendous and that's why I didn't think it was from Apple. I was just wondering about the evangelising bit.
