Avinash S. has a very noble thought in Thot Bubbled#26. I immediately put on my thinking hat.
We know about global warming. We know how it will effect us in the future. Wal-Mart is selling compact florescent bulbs, Marks & Spencer going 'Carbon-neutral', America is going Green.
Al Gore is producing a film "An Inconvenient Truth." This wonderful site allows American people to calculate their impact on global warming. And how they can take measures to reduce it.
Can you think of any Indian company apart from the car makers (Tata, M&M, Leyland etc.) which can become 'Carbon-Neutral' in the near future?

An Inconvenient Truth was released a while ago. You can watch it online here:

Two things drive companies to "go green": regulations and public demand/pressure. I think many Indians do not have time (sadly) to care about (2) as individuals. Smart marketing can change this though because as a culture I think we do care about nature.
