I periodically keep sticking up interesting links that I find and think will be useful to the planning community at large. Here are three I have added today (found them via ExLibris.)
1. Swivel : The place to go if you are curious about data. Swivel lets you explore data, share insights with others and compare unlikely data sets. You can upload graphs onto your blogs or upload your graphs/data on to Swivel.
2. BananaSlug : A search engine with a difference. Instead of yielding Google-like accurate results, BananaSlug throws in a random seed word along with your keywords to throw up interesting connections that you may have never thought of. Talk of serendipity!
3. Periodic Table of Visualisation Techniques : A handy reference tool and memory jogger when you have data that you have to present, share or simply bring alive.
If there any links you know that will prove useful to other planners, do share them with me and I'll add them to the sidepanels. You can leave a comment here or mail me.

Thanks iqbal. You are the Russel davies of thotblurb :)
Thanks IQ... this is simply awesome. Am sure everyone will find it very useful.
The Periodic table is a great way to organise one's thoughts and learn how to think better. Thanks IQ.
Isn't banana slug similar to the 'i'm feeling lucky' option in google? related question, how many people use the 'i'm feeling lucky' option in google?
Ref: Banana slug is a lot more than the 'i'm feeling lucky' option. Creative Planning is so much about making creative connections. Very relevant find.
